PickAWin vs Woobox

What Woobox is built for

Woobox is a marketing platform for running campaigns: contests and giveaways with entry forms, polls, quizzes, coupons and similar interactive pages, plus tools for picking winners from social media entries. It is designed for brands that run campaigns regularly and want entries, data collection and reporting in one place. Plans and limits change, so check its current pricing on the Woobox site.

What PickAWin is built for

PickAWin does one part of that job: picking random winners from comments. Paste an Instagram post or Reel link and the comments are fetched for you (a one-time payment per draw, priced by the size of the post and shown in your currency before you pay), or paste a list of comments from any network in the free manual mode, with no signup and no size limit.

Before the draw you can remove duplicates, require a minimum number of mentions (0 to 10), require a hashtag, exclude words or users and set a minimum comment length. You can draw 1 to 50 winners in one run. Every draw uses a random 256-bit seed and shows its SHA-256 hash, and automatic draws get a public result page whose hash anyone can check on the verify page.

Which one to choose

Choose Woobox, or another contest platform, if you need an entry form, want to collect emails or other data, run polls or quizzes, or manage many campaigns for a brand. PickAWin has none of that: no forms, no email collection, no campaign pages.

Choose PickAWin if your giveaway is a comment giveaway and you just need a fair, recorded draw without a subscription or an account. It does not check whether entrants follow your profile, so if following is part of your rules, check the winners by hand. The quickest way to decide is to run one of your past posts through both and compare the time it takes and what you can show your audience at the end.
